TAMPA, Fla. – A Tampa woman already on probation for serious charges is now facing child pornography charges after allegedly sending an explicit image of a child to her probation officer.
Janette Cua, 55, was arrested by Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office on December 4, 2024, following the disturbing discovery. Cua is currently on probation for two counts of first-degree solicitation to commit murder, adding another layer of concern to this case.

“Protecting our community from predators is of the utmost importance,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Our deputy’s quick response ensured this depraved individual will face the consequences of their actions.”
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office acted swiftly to arrest Cua and commended the probation officer for reporting the incident.
