Tampa Water Department To Close Lanes On North Florida Avenue For Maintenance

TAMPA, Fla. – Beginning at 9 pm tonight, the inside and middle lanes of North Florida Avenue between East Amelia Avenue and East Euclid Avenue will be closed for maintenance work on the water distribution system, according to the Tampa Water Department.

All lanes will reopen to traffic daily by 5 am and then close again the following evening at 9 pm as work continues.

The closure is expected to last until 5 am on Friday, June 28, barring any unforeseen circumstances or weather delays.

Traffic Impact and Detours

Barricades and signs will be in place to guide motorists and pedestrians, but drivers are strongly encouraged to consider alternate routes during this period. Commuters should expect delays and exercise caution when traveling in the affected area.
