TAMPA, Fla. – Starting at 9 a.m. today, September 23, 2024, the outside lanes (both eastbound and westbound) of West Gandy Boulevard between South Trask Street and South Hesperides Street will be closed. The Tampa Water Department is returning to complete additional repairs from a previous water main break.

Drivers are advised to use caution and expect delays in the area. Barricades and signs will be in place to help direct traffic. The work is expected to be completed by 4 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, weather permitting.
The Tampa Water Department may need to return at a later date to finish additional work. If so, an update will be provided at that time.
