TAMPA, Fla. – Starting at 5 p.m. today, the outside westbound lane on East Hillsborough Avenue at the intersection of North 19th Street will be closed as the Tampa Water Department repairs a water main break.
Barricades and signs will be in place to help guide traffic, and drivers are advised to exercise caution while traveling through the area. Traffic modifications may be necessary as the work progresses.

The repair work is expected to be completed, with normal traffic patterns resuming by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25. However, the Tampa Water Department may need to return at a later date for additional repairs. Updates will be provided as needed. All work schedules are weather-dependent.
