TAMPA, Fla. – Motorists traveling on West Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa should be aware of a lane closure between Golden Drive and Sawyer Road.
The City of Tampa Water Department has closed the outside westbound lane to conduct emergency repairs on a water main break.
Barricades and signage have been placed in the area to direct traffic. Drivers are urged to exercise caution when traveling through the work zone.

“Modifications may be necessary during the course of the work,” the City of Tampa stated in a press release.
The repair work is expected to be completed and normal traffic flow restored by 5 p.m. today, March 25th. However, the schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.
