TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers on West Green Street can expect a lane closure starting tonight, February 10, 2025, at 8 p.m. The westbound outer lane will be closed between North Howard Avenue and North Albany Avenue while the Tampa Water Department completes permanent restoration work following a previous water main break repair.
Barricades and signage will be in place to direct traffic flow. Motorists are urged to use caution while driving through the area and be aware that modifications to the closure may be necessary as work progresses.
The Tampa Water Department anticipates the work will be completed and normal traffic patterns restored by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11th. However, the work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions. The Tampa Water Department thanks the public for their patience during this necessary repair.
