TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers in Tampa should be aware of a full road closure on West Cass Street starting today.
The Tampa Water Department is closing West Cass Street between North Fremont Avenue and North Rome Avenue to repair a water main break. The closure begins at 9:00 AM.
The closure is expected to cause traffic delays in the area. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes and follow posted detours.

Barricades and signs have been placed in the area to help manage traffic flow and ensure safety in the work zone.
The Tampa Water Department aims to complete the repairs and reopen West Cass Street by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 21st. However, the repair schedule may be affected by weather conditions.
Drivers are urged to exercise caution when traveling in the area and be aware of crews and equipment.
