Tampa Traffic Alert: Water Main Break Prompts Southbound Dale Mabry Lane Closure

TAMPA, Fla. – Commuters traveling southbound on Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa can expect delays this week due to a water main break.

Starting at 9 a.m. today, March 11, 2025, the outer southbound lane of South Dale Mabry Highway will be closed between West San Rafael Street and West Angeles Street. The Tampa Water Department is conducting emergency repairs to address the break.

Crews will be on site, and barricades and flaggers will be deployed to manage traffic flow. Motorists are advised to exercise caution when driving through the area.

The Tampa Water Department anticipates completing the repairs and restoring normal traffic patterns by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025. However, the work schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions and potential modifications during the repair process.
