Tampa Traffic Alert: Water Main Break Causes Lane Closure On West Kennedy Boulevard

TAMPA, Fla. – Motorists traveling on West Kennedy Boulevard in Tampa are advised to exercise caution due to a lane closure caused by a water main break. The Tampa Water Department is currently conducting repairs, which have necessitated the closure of the outside eastbound lane between South Orleans Avenue and South Willow Avenue.

The lane closure went into effect on March 21, 2025, and is expected to remain in place until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25th, weather permitting. Barricades and signs have been strategically placed to direct traffic flow and ensure the safety of drivers.
