TAMPA, Fla. – Motorists traveling on West Kennedy Boulevard in Tampa are advised to exercise caution due to a lane closure caused by a water main break. The Tampa Water Department is currently conducting repairs, which have necessitated the closure of the outside eastbound lane between South Orleans Avenue and South Willow Avenue.
The lane closure went into effect on March 21, 2025, and is expected to remain in place until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25th, weather permitting. Barricades and signs have been strategically placed to direct traffic flow and ensure the safety of drivers.

Drivers are urged to be aware of the altered traffic pattern and to proceed with caution when navigating the affected area. The Tampa Water Department acknowledges that modifications to the work schedule may be necessary depending on weather conditions.
