TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers traveling southbound on I-275 should be aware of a temporary closure of the ramp to eastbound I-4 (Exit 45B) tonight. The closure will begin at 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8th, and last until 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 9th, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to continue south on I-275, exiting at Exit 45A (Jefferson Street).
Keep left at the fork towards Downtown East, turn left onto Scott Street, and re-enter the interstate using the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp. Signage and electronic message boards will guide drivers through the detour.

The closure is necessary for construction crews to work on the I-275 Capacity Improvements project.
