TAMPA, Fla. – Motorists in Tampa should be aware of a full road closure on southbound Bayshore Boulevard starting this evening. The closure, between West Howard Avenue and West Bay to Bay Boulevard, is necessary for the Tampa Water Department to repair a water main break.
Beginning at 8:00 PM tonight, both southbound lanes of Bayshore Boulevard will be closed to traffic. Barricades and signs will be in place to direct traffic. Drivers are urged to exercise caution in the area.

The closure is expected to last through the weekend, with normal traffic patterns anticipated to resume by 5:00 PM on Monday, January 27th. However, the work schedule may be impacted by weather conditions.
Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes and allow extra travel time while the closure is in effect. Updates on the repair progress will be provided as they become available.
