TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers in Tampa should be aware of a road closure on S Howard Ave scheduled to begin on Monday, February 17th, 2025, at 9 a.m.
The closure will affect S Howard Ave between W Swann Ave and Bayshore Blvd. Crews will be repairing a damaged wastewater pipe in the area.

Detours will be in place to reroute traffic around the closure, but motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Access to businesses and residences in the area will be maintained.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Wednesday, February 19th, at which time normal traffic patterns will resume.
