TAMPA, Fla. – Starting at noon today, North Himes Avenue will be fully closed between West Sitka Street and Edna Court for water system maintenance. The closure will last until 5 p.m. today to accommodate weekend traffic.
Starting Monday, August 26, the full closure will be in effect daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until the work is finished. Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes and use caution in the area.

The project is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, with normal traffic patterns resuming. However, the Tampa Water Department may need to return for additional work at a later date. Updates will be provided as needed.
