TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers in Tampa should anticipate lane closures on West Cypress Street starting today, February 17th, 2025, at 9 a.m. due to ongoing water main repairs.
The inside eastbound and westbound lanes of West Cypress Street will be closed between North Lois Avenue and the I-275 exit ramp to Lois Avenue. This closure is necessary for the Tampa Water Department to complete additional repairs following a previous water main break.

The Tampa Water Department aims to complete the work and reopen the lanes by 4 p.m. on Thursday, February 20th. However, the work schedule may change depending on weather conditions.
