TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers in Tampa should anticipate delays on South Plant Avenue due to a lane closure beginning this morning. The Tampa Water Department will be conducting maintenance on the water distribution system, necessitating the closure of the outside northbound lane between West Beach Place and West Hyde Park Place.
The lane closure will begin at 9:00 AM today, January 27th, and is expected to remain in effect until 3:00 PM tomorrow, January 28th. Barricades and signs will be in place to assist with traffic flow and rerouting.

Drivers are encouraged to consider alternate routes and exercise caution when traveling in the area. Modifications to the lane closure may be necessary during the course of the work.
