TAMPA, Fla. – Starting at 9 a.m. today, September 24th, 2024, the outside southbound lane on South MacDill Avenue will be closed between West Empedrado Street and West Bay to Bay Boulevard. This closure is necessary for the Tampa Water Department to repair a water main break.
The lane is expected to reopen by 5 p.m. on Friday, September 27th, weather permitting. Drivers should anticipate delays and use caution in the area. Barricades and signs will be in place to direct traffic.
