TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Water Department has announced the closure of the westbound lane of Interbay Boulevard between South Dale Mabry Highway and South Himes Avenue beginning today at 9 a.m. Crews are working to repair a water main break in the area.
To assist with traffic flow, barricades and signage have been placed at the site. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes and exercise caution when traveling near the construction zone. Adjustments to traffic patterns may be necessary as the work progresses.

The repairs are expected to be completed, with traffic patterns returning to normal, by 4 p.m. on Friday, December 27. However, the Tampa Water Department may need to revisit the area for additional work at a later date, and updates will be provided as necessary.
