TAMPA, Fla. – A lane closure will be in effect on Bayshore Boulevard starting at 9 a.m. today. The outside southbound lane will be closed between South Gunby Avenue and South Albany Avenue as the Tampa Water Department conducts maintenance on the water distribution system.
Barricades and signs will be present to assist with traffic rerouting and flow. Drivers are encouraged to consider alternate routes and exercise caution when driving in the area.

Be aware that modifications to lane closures may be necessary during the course of the work.
The Tampa Water Department anticipates the maintenance will be completed and normal traffic patterns will resume by 3 p.m. on Friday, January 31st. The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions. The Tampa Water Department appreciates the public’s patience during this time.
