TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers should be aware of temporary closures on the westbound I-4 entrance ramps from SR 39 (Alexander Street) and SR 39A (Wheeler Street/Paul Buchman Highway) on Sunday, August 25th. The closures will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.
Alternative Route:
Motorists needing to access westbound I-4 from these locations will need to use an alternate route:
- Enter I-4 eastbound.
- Exit at Exit 21.
- Turn north onto Park Road.
- Re-enter I-4 westbound.

Electronic message boards and signage will be in place to guide drivers. Please exercise caution in the work zone and be mindful of construction workers.
Reason for Closure:
These closures are necessary for the ongoing I-4 repaving project between McIntosh Road and County Line Road in Hillsborough County.
