Detour Information:

Northbound I-275 traffic will be detoured off the interstate at Gandy Boulevard (Exit 28). Follow the posted detour route using Roosevelt Boulevard, Gandy Boulevard, and Dale Mabry Highway to get around the closure.

Alternative Routes:

Consider using these bridges as alternatives to avoid potential congestion:

  • Roosevelt Boulevard
  • Bayside Bridge
  • Courtney Campbell Causeway
  • Memorial Highway

Expect Delays:

Be prepared for increased travel times. The Florida Department of Transportation advises adding approximately 30 minutes to your commute due to potential traffic congestion and delays.

This closure is necessary for crews to safely install overhead sign structures as part of the ongoing Howard Frankland Bridge expansion project.
