Tampa Traffic Alert: Full Closure Of SR 574 Over I-75 Planned For Monday, Tuesday Nights

TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers in Tampa should be aware of a full road closure planned for SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) over I-75. The closure will be in effect on Monday, February 10th, and Tuesday, February 11th, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.

The closure will affect the stretch of SR 574 between Falkenburg Road and Williams Road. Electronic message boards and temporary signage will direct motorists to detour routes using US 301, I-4, and Mango Road.

Drivers on I-75 needing to access SR 574 will also be detoured. Southbound I-75 motorists can use Exit 257 and continue west onto SR 60 (Adamo Drive) or east onto SR 60 (Brandon Boulevard). Northbound I-75 motorists can use Exit 261 for I-4 and then either Exit 7 for US 301 or Exit 10 for Mango Road.

Drivers should exercise caution when traveling through the work zone and be aware of construction workers.
