Tampa Traffic Alert: Emergency Sewer Repairs Cause Lane Closures On N MacDill Ave

TAMPA, Fla. – The Wastewater Department has initiated emergency repairs on a broken sewer mainline pipe and road depression on N MacDill Ave between W Spruce and W Walnut Streets. As a result, the inside northbound and southbound lanes are closed effective immediately.

Barricades and signage are in place to direct traffic and detour motorists around the affected area. Residents and businesses will still have access.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes and exercise caution when driving in the area.

The repairs and road restoration are expected to be completed by the end of the day on Wednesday, August 13th, at which time normal traffic patterns will resume. Please note that work schedules may be affected by weather conditions.
