TAMPA, Fla. – Motorists traveling on East Sligh Avenue in Tampa should be aware of a lane closure due to emergency water main repairs.

The Tampa Water Department has closed the eastbound lane of East Sligh Avenue between Wood Branch Drive and North 78th Street to address a water main break.

Crews are currently on-site, and barricades and flaggers are in place to assist with traffic flow and rerouting. To minimize disruption, all lanes will be reopened to traffic by 5:00 p.m. each day. The lane closure will then resume the following morning at 9:00 a.m. to continue the repair work.

The Tampa Water Department thanks the public for their patience during this necessary repair work.
