TAMPA, Fla. – Motorists in Tampa should anticipate lane closures on S. MacDill Avenue for two days later this month due to utility construction.
From February 24th to 25th, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, crews will be working on S. MacDill Avenue in two locations:
- S. MacDill Avenue at W. Sunset Drive: Details about the specific closure at this intersection are limited, but drivers should expect potential delays and lane restrictions.
- S. MacDill Avenue between W. Watrous Avenue and W. Prospect Road: The southbound outer lane will be closed.

The lane closures are necessary for water utility installation and other utility construction activities.
Drivers are advised to use caution in the work zones, be aware of workers, and consider alternate routes if possible.
