HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A 59-year-old Tampa man was injured Wednesday morning when the tractor-trailer he was driving hydroplaned and crashed on Interstate 75.
The accident occurred around 7:50 a.m. on southbound I-75, north of State Road 60. The driver lost control of the truck, causing it to hydroplane and veer into the center median where it collided with a guardrail.

The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The crash caused some traffic delays in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.
