Tampa Residential Fire Sunday Under Control In 15 Minutes

Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at the 3000 block of N. 40h St. at approximately 11:30pm Monday evening. Engine 10 was first on scene and reported a commercial building with smoke showing from the structure. Due to the size of the bu

TAMPA, FL. – Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at the 2000 block of W. Beach St. at 11:06 am on Sunday around 12:43 pm.

Engine 9 was first on the scene and found a single-story residential structure with smoke and flames showing from the structure.

Residents had exited the home safely prior to our arrival. Firefighters made an interior attack on the fire. A primary and secondary search was completed with no other occupants in the home

The fire was under control within 15 minutes. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians reported at the scene. The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the family.

“Our fire investigator was on scene and the cause of the fire is under investigation,” said Vivian McIlrath, PIO for Tampa Fire Rescue.
