Tampa Police Seeking Woman Who Sold A Stolen Parrot To A Pet Store

TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police Detectives are working to identify the female in the video below and need your help.

Police say on March 18, two Blue-fronted Amazon parrots, Tito (15 years old) and Mama (20 years old), were stolen from the porch of a house near Epps Park in Seminole Heights.

Police say that on March 21, the female seen in this video sold Tito to a pet store. The owner of the store recognized that Tito had been stolen and was able to contact the true owner.

While Tito has been reunited with his family, Mama, who has a steel band on her left foot, is still missing.

Investigators continue working to determine the identity of this woman and the location of Mama.

“Detectives are now asking anyone in the community who may know the female in this video to contact #YourTampaPD at 813.231.6130, or Crimestoppers of Tampa Bay at 800.873.TIPS and help bring Mama home,” said Tampa PD.
