TAMPA, FL. – Tampa Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a bank robbery suspect that got away with the cash on Tuesday.
Police say a man with a red baseball hat, mask, glasses, blue & white plaid shirt, khaki pants, and wearing one yellow shoe and one white shoe, walked into the 5/3 Bank around 9:15 am on Tuesday morning, in the 1900 block of W Swann Ave.
Investigators say the man demanded money from the teller, took the cash, and fled the area in a blue 2000-2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
“The same bank was robbed a few weeks ago, but it is unclear whether the two robberies are connected,” said Tampa Police Department in a statement.
Investigators are asking anyone with information, or anyone who has seen the suspect to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS.
