Tampa Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect

TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery that took place on the morning of August 9th, 2024.

The incident occurred at the 29th Street Grocery store located at 2802 N 29th St. The armed suspect, captured on video, entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk, and demanded money. The employee was not harmed.

Detectives are releasing a video clip of the suspect and urge the public to review it carefully. He was wearing a black t-shirt with white lettering pulled over his head, black and gray camouflage shorts, black Nike slides, and has a noticeable scar on his abdomen. He fled the scene northbound on 29th St. on a bicycle.
