TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect captured on video vandalizing businesses in the 1700 block of N. Franklin Street on April 6, 2025.
Authorities say the individual was observed throwing large stones at storefront windows, causing significant damage.

In a statement released today, the Tampa Police Department emphasized that the suspect’s actions went beyond mere “window-shopping,” indicating a deliberate act of vandalism.
Detectives are actively investigating the incident and are urging anyone with information about the suspect to come forward.

- Non-Emergency Line: Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has any information related to this case is urged to call the Tampa Police Department’s non-emergency line at 813-231-6130.
- Crime Stoppers: Individuals wishing to remain anonymous can submit tips through Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay, Inc. by calling 1-800-873-TIPS (8477). Tips submitted through Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a cash reward.
