TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects involved in a shooting that injured a teenager in November 2024.

The incident occurred on November 8th, shortly after 10:30 PM, near the intersection of Laurel Street and Doyle Carlton Drive. Detectives have released video footage of the suspects’ vehicle and are hoping someone in the community will recognize them.

According to the investigation, the victim and several other teenagers were driving westbound on Laurel Street when they encountered a dark-colored sedan occupied by three males, also believed to be teenagers.

A verbal altercation ensued between the occupants of the two vehicles, escalating to the point where the suspects in the sedan fired shots into the victim’s car.

One of the shots struck the victim, who thankfully sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect vehicle is described as a newer model, dark blue Toyota Camry. The shooter is described as a teenager with a “bowl” style haircut.
