TAMPA, FL. – The Tampa Police Department is investigating after an altercation left one man dead.
Around 2 am on Thursday, officers were alerted to the shooting near East Chelsea St and North Englewood St.
When they arrived, they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and rendered aid. The man was transported to Tampa General Hospital where he did not survive his injuries.
The men involved were known to each other and police are not looking for any additional suspects.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing and we will update this story when more details are released.
