Scott, armed and masked, entered the store just after 10:00 am and demanded money. After receiving the cash, he fled on a bicycle. Detectives quickly began their investigation, reviewing surveillance footage and canvassing the area.
Further investigation connected Scott to additional robberies and burglaries, including a previous incident at the same 29th Street Store on August 9th, and an armed robbery at the M&M Food and Meat store on September 16th. A search warrant executed at a property associated with Scott yielded further evidence.
Scott faces multiple felony charges, including Armed Robbery While Wearing a Mask, Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. He is currently in custody at Orient Road Jail.
