TAMPA, Fla. – Police responded to Borrell Park with reports of a shooting on Tuesday around 9:34 am.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police say the suspect fled south on foot in the park and then proceeded to jump into a four-door light-colored sedan that fled south on Nebraska Ave.
The subject was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
