Tampa Police Investigating Early Morning Shooting

TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Monday morning in the area of 34th Street and Mohawk Avenue.

Officers responded to the scene around 2:18 AM and found an adult male victim with upper body trauma. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Detectives are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No further details have been released at this time.
