TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024, in the 2600 block of East Chelsea Street.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 9:10 PM and found an adult Black male victim with upper body trauma. Despite lifesaving efforts, the victim died from his injuries.

Detectives are actively working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No arrests have been made at this time.
