TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police are investigating the discovery of a body in the Hillsborough River near Rowlett Park.
Around 1:30 PM on Monday, October 14th, officers responded to a report of a body in the water. The Tampa Police Marine Unit recovered the deceased, identified as an adult Black male.

Preliminary investigations show no obvious signs of foul play. Detectives are working to identify the man and notify his next of kin. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
