TAMPA, Fla. – The Florida Lottery today announced that Tampa resident Vijay Gandhi, 61, has claimed a substantial $1 million prize after playing the popular 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game. Gandhi collected his winnings at the Lottery’s Tampa District Office, opting for a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00.
The lucky ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 6845 N. 22nd Street in Tampa. The retailer will also benefit from Gandhi’s win, receiving a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $ 50,500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game has proven to be a hit with players, boasting the largest top prize ever offered on a Florida Scratch-Off at $25 million and the best odds of becoming an instant millionaire.
