TAMPA, Fla. – Terrence Jenkins, 28, turned himself in to authorities on July 12th in connection to a fatal three-vehicle crash that occurred on June 22nd.
Investigators determined that Jenkins, driving a Chrysler Pacifica, failed to stop for a red light and struck a VW Jetta, causing it to overturn. A female passenger in the Jetta was pronounced dead at the scene, while three other passengers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Jenkins exhibited signs of impairment at the scene, and a subsequent blood draw revealed his blood alcohol content was 0.126, well above the legal limit.
Jenkins is now facing felony charges of vehicular homicide, DUI with serious bodily injury, and DUI manslaughter. He has been booked into Orient Road Jail.
