Tampa International Airport To Fill 150 Positions, Meet Increased Travel Demand

Tampa International Airport’s tenants are looking to fill more than 150 available positions at a Hiring Day on July 13 to meet growing demand at its increasingly busy shops and restaurants.

Available positions include opportunities ranging from cooks, baristas, cashiers and management positions.

Qualified applicants will be hired on the spot, and some positions come with signing bonuses or other perks, such as memberships to popular streaming services.

Filling these positions is critical to expand hours of service and dining options as passengers return to the skies in greater numbers.

Tampa International Airport averaged about 57,000 passengers per day in June, which is just 4 percent below the same period in 2019. Several days in recent weeks have surpassed TPA’s pre-pandemic passenger levels.

“Our passenger numbers are back, and it’s critically important that we ramp up staffing levels throughout the Airport to provide our guests with the level of customer service that they’ve come to expect at TPA,” said Laurie Noyes, TPA’s Vice President of Concessions and Commercial Parking. “The Airport is an exciting and fast-paced place to work that helps welcome millions of guests per year, and our employees are key to making a memorable first and last impression.”
