TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Housing Authority is holding its 6th Deep Sea Fishing Tournament Fundraiser, on Friday, May 5, at the Hubbard’s Marina.
Proceeds from the event help support several of the agency’s youth programs which currently assist hundreds of youngsters.

The Tampa Housing Authority (THA) offers comprehensive programs and services to educate, elevate, and empower youth while engaging with parents and families.
OAKS AT RIVERVIEW COMMUNITY CENTER (ORCC)
The ORCC is managed by THA and is home to a variety of resources and events for the community. The anchor program at the ORCC is a year-round afterschool and summer program for youth in grades kindergarten through 12 to provide them school success support so that all ORCC youth stay connected to their school and ultimately graduate from high school.
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES
THA provides behavioral health services tour youth and their families who often possess multiple risk factor for delinquency, school difficulty, stress, and anxiety. THA offers clinical case management, group counseling, school/home visits, and support to families in need.
INTERGENERATTIONAL PROGRAMS
THA has embraced intergenerational programs to engage our youth and seniors. These programs bridge the intergenerational gap and foster mentorship opportunities and positive relationships.
