Tampa Fire Rescue Launches Convenient, Secure EMS Billing System 

TAMPA, FL.- Starting today, Tampa Fire Rescue has transitioned to a new online processing system, creating a faster and more secure way to view and pay your EMS bill and more. 

The new system, Digitech, provides expert EMS billing and technology. It uses automated, secure payment methods that you can complete from your mobile device or cell phone. 

“Currently, residents have to pay their bill through the mail, using only a check or money order,” said Tampa Fire Rescue Chief Barbara Tripp. “We know this will make it much more convenient and accessible for residents to review their invoices and make payments. This is also a way to help better protect sensitive patient information.” 

When logging in to Digitech, please have the following information on hand: 

  • Date of Birth 
  • Invoice Number 
  • Incident Number 

Residents will be able to complete a personalized log-in to view their invoice(s), manage their insurance or ask a question. 

Credit cards accepted include American Express, Mastercard, Discover, and Visa. Customers will be able to pay invoices dating back to June 1, 2021. 

Ensuring residents have the easiest, most secure, and convenient way to access their billing information is another way the City of Tampa strives to provide excellent customer service, a key part of Mayor Jane Castor’s Transforming Tampa’s Tomorrow initiative.
