TAMPA, Fla.- Tampa Fire Rescue crews responded to a reported structure fire on the 2200 Block of E. 7th Ave at approximately 4:45 am on Friday.
First arriving crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the front of a commercial building that appeared to be under renovation.
Firefighters made entry into the structure to extinguish the fire and perform a search of the building for occupants. Firefighters were able to contain the fire in under 15 minutes.

There were no reported injuries to civilians or firefighters during fire ground operations. The cause of the fire is under investigation by Tampa Fire Marshal Office investigators.
