TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire at the 8000 block of N. 18th St. at 4:10 a.m. Friday.
The first arriving crew found a single-story structure with heavy smoke and flames coming from the front of the house. A primary and secondary search were completed, and no occupants were found in the structure.
Firefighters attacked the fire from the interior. Live power lines threatened the structure, and the fire was under control within 30 minutes.
Officials say there were no injuries to firefighters or civilians were reported at the scene.
TFR fire investigator was on scene, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
