TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Fire Rescue crews responded to a house fire in South Tampa on Sunday afternoon. The fire broke out around 1:30 PM at a single-story home located in the 4700 block of West Knights Avenue.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the rear of the house. They quickly entered the home and extinguished the fire within 20 minutes.

A thorough search of the house confirmed that no one was inside at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported to either residents or firefighters.

Tampa Fire Investigators are currently working to determine the cause of the fire.
