Tampa: Buddy Brew Coffee Presents Donation Check To Onbikes

TAMPA, Florida — Buddy Brew Coffee co-founders Dave and Susan Ward presented a donation check for $6,435 to Onbikes during a special ceremony on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. The event took place at Buddy Brew’s flagship location at 2020 W. Kennedy Boulevard.

The donation represents proceeds from two annual coffee collaborations, Joy Ride Roast, which comes out late fall, and Shipwreck Roast, which comes out each spring. Onbikes, based in Tampa, has donated more than 7,000 bicycles to children in need across the state and beyond.

“We love onbikes because their mission is so simple, yet so profound,” said Dave Ward. “Too many children are missing out on the simple joys of childhood, like having a bike of their own.”

“Onbikes’ work dovetails perfectly with our ‘Brew Good, Do Good mission,’” said Susan Ward. “We are grateful to give back to this outstanding organization that has done so much for the Tampa community.”
