TAMPA, Fla. – Two hometown-winning organizations are partnering up on a multifaceted, long-term partnership, aimed at enhancing their shared commitment to conservation and the Tampa Bay community.
ZooTampa, Florida’s most popular cultural institution and leader in the rehabilitation and care of Florida wildlife, and Tampa Bay Rays, who clinched a fourth consecutive trip to Major League Baseball’s postseason, have entered into a multi-year partnership aimed at motivating guests to take action in the protection and preservation of the world we share.
Part of the new collaboration will include cross-promotional opportunities and the development of a unique up-close animal experience that connects guests with wildlife.
Additionally, this new partnership allows both organizations to highlight to a larger audience their shared focus on providing experiences where families can come together, be entertained, and connect with each other.
“We are proud to join forces with another iconic Tampa Bay community asset,” stated ZooTampa President and CEO Joe Couceiro. “Partnering with the Tampa Bay Rays will be instrumental in sharing our vision of inspiring a healthy respect for wildlife. We look forward to doing great work together.”
“Our partnership is a natural fit,” said Tampa Bay Rays Chief Business Officer Bill Walsh. “Both ZooTampa and the Tampa Bay Rays are focused on building connections in the community, and we are excited for the opportunity to partner on future initiatives.”
