CLEARWATER, FL. On Wednesday, April 27, Tampa Bay Lightning’s Thunderbug will cross the bridge into Clearwater to pump up fans from across the bay with a lunchtime pep rally ahead of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Thunderbug and the Lightning Street Team will be traveling between the 400 and 500 blocks of Cleveland Street to find the Bolt’s biggest fans beginning at 1 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to take their lunch hour and dine in Downtown Clearwater for a chance to take photos with the bug, meet with Lightning representatives and win Bolts swag and fan gear.
Some of the restaurants Thunderbug and the Street Team may visit include, but are not limited to 530 Pub & Grill, Chiang Mai Thai & Sushi Bar, ClearSky on Cleveland, Downtown Pizza, Kara Lynn Kitchen, Roxys Clearwater, Starbucks, and Tequila’s Mexican Grill & Cantina.
