TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Lightning announced Sunday that their “Tampa Bay Strong” 50/50 raffle has raised over $1 million to support hurricane relief efforts in the community.

The raffle, powered by Moffitt Cancer Center, exceeded its goal and generated a total of $1,058,895. The Lightning Foundation has pledged to match the funds raised, effectively doubling the impact of every raffle ticket purchased. The proceeds will benefit a variety of local organizations, including the YMCA, A Kid’s Place, LiFT, Team Rubicon, Ronald McDonald House, and Habitat for Humanity Hillsborough County.

The Tampa Bay Strong 50/50 raffle was launched in response to the devastating impact of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, which caused widespread damage and disruption across the region.

The funds raised will help these organizations continue to provide essential services and support to those in need.
