ORLANDO, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Lightning rallied from behind to defeat the Florida Panthers 8-7 in an exciting preseason matchup at the Kia Center in Orlando on Wednesday night. The Bolts scored three unanswered goals in the final 5:21 of the third period to secure the victory.
Conor Geekie led the Lightning with two goals, including the game-winner with just two seconds remaining. Darren Raddysh had a five-point night (2 goals, 3 assists).
The Lightning power play was key, going 2-for-4, with the second power-play goal proving to be the game-winner. Tampa Bay outshot Florida 30-26, including a 15-7 edge in the decisive third period.

Conor Geekie, Darren Raddysh, and Jaydon Dureau were named the three stars of the game by the team.
Geekie scored the game-winning goal by taking the puck end-to-end and scoring five-hole with two seconds left. Dureau, a former Orlando Solar Bear, recorded three assists in his return to the Kia Center.
Raddysh’s five-point night was his second such performance in 2024.
